| Tiger Sandoval 4-13-05 April 14th, 2005 To
my Heavenly Father, I remember meeting you at the age of seven, I
was introduced to you by your son, Jesus Christ. When I met you, I
didn't have any dreams, goals, talent, gifts or money, just a little
boy's heart. As you can see I have grown since then and have had
dreams, goals and blessed with a little money. Today, in front of
the world and church they may see a grown, older man, but you today,
will see that little boy again. Six and a half years ago, in a park
in Tampa, Fl, you lead me to an abandoned puppy. She wanted to play
with Cinammon and follow us home but I had to put her in a park
rangers fence and as we walked away she barked and barked, wanting
to come home with us. I went home and the thought of her there
alone, possibly being picked up the county and put down, made me
drive back looking for her. I found her laying by a tree, looking
like she was wanting to die. I believe a man near her under a
sheltered picnic area, with two small children, had been cruel to
her. I put her in my car and led her home to give her love, food,
attention and yes more love. Six and a half years go by fast in our
life time, you have said "life is but a vapor, it appearth for
a little while and then vanishes" and storms of life appears
suddenly in our lives. On Friday April 8th 2005, once such
thunderstoms appeared, and as she wanted to come in twice to the
utility room and I turned her away, she went out to the shed where
she has been safe before. If only I had brought her in, if only I
had closed the inside gate my girl would be here today. After the
storm passed thru and I looked out the window and saw flames coming
out of the shed, did I run out there, I need to save the lawnmowers
I said to myself, opening the door and there was my little girl
laying, whites of her eyes showing and barely breathing. As best as
I could try and the best medical care known to animals could
provide, the heat and smoke damaged the hair lining of her lungs to
where it was irrepairable. Yesterday was the toughest day in my
life, after seeing you having difficulty breathing, I knew I had to
let you go, but it doesn't ease the pain in my heart. For when the
lightning bolt hit that day, it struck three things, the pine tree,
then the shed and lastly the bottom of my heart. I am so sorry for
failing you, I hope and pray you will forgive me, but I know one day
I will see you in heaven, remember this is a little boy's prayer. My
Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing Tiger into my liife, you
have said "your ways are not our ways" and we as
christians are each individuals and you teach us lessons that may
not apply to another Christian. As I have gotten older I have
wandered far away from you, places and things where I should not
have gone and done. You have also said " we are like sheep we
have gone astray" I can now say that this little wandering
sheep was brought back home to you, led by a Tiger. From your
prodigal son who is thankful and in debted to your beloving son,
Jesus Christ REST IN PEACE my precious TIGER Dec 1998 to April 13th
