Savannah McDaniel 12-2-05 Savannah, my
Maltese, was part of my life for 16 wonderful years. My husband got
her for me when my grandfather passed away and our only son Andrew
was 6 years old. Savannah was ALWAYS with me and as a matter of fact
my son said I should have named her Shadow. She was with me when my
husband traveled, she was with me when my son went off to college,
she was with me when both of my parents who live out of state went
through some sickness, she was with me constantly. I miss Savannah
so badly that sometimes I feel like I just can't make it without her
precious little body laying in my lap. The day my husband gave her
to me, I had bought her a sweet little bed and placed it on the
floor on my side of the bed so she would be close to me, well like
puppies do when they are taken away from their Mommy she began to
cry, Larry, my husband said let her sleep with us JUST tonight, well
she slept with us for 16 years. I will wake up during the night
thinking she is walking on the bed just like she did for those 16

2003.Trisha was so happy that she had you to play with again.To run
and jump again.And then you got sick.You tried so hard to fight to

down but you just could'nt breathe.your head went side by

Susie Peck 12-7-05 No words seem to describe
or convey what your beloved pet means to you. You have to experience
the bond, the caring and feel the tender love in order to
understand. I am one of the fortunate individuals to have this
experience. All animals are neat, but particularly dogs. Throughout
life from the age of 5, I continuously had one or more dogs. (I am
now 62 and that?s a lot a pups) Sixteen years ago, I had decided to
get a miniature poodle. On April 28, 1990, I was browsing through a
huge flea market (not looking for anything in particular) when I
turned and saw a lady carrying two six-week old sister poodle pups.
Hurriedly, I caught up with the lady and looked at the little cute
face of Susie and decided she was the one. From that day, I was ?in
love? with my ?baby? and we were inseparable. For a week, I took her
to work in my purse, placed her in a box each day underneath my desk
where she would eat, drink and play tearing tissues until she would
go to sleep. B! efore she was too old, she would leap happily
through the tall grass, with the tiny white top notch of her head
bearly detectable at each leap. She had her own little four-poster
bed, but of course, slept with me. Also, like most dogs, she loved
to ride with me in the car, ears flapping in the wind. As poodles
are known for the trait of aloofness (and she was certainly no
exception), other dogs were ignored by Susie as though they didn?t
exist. However, she was sweet and friendly with people and everyone
she encountered liked Susie. During her life, she endured several
surgeries, had arthritis, partial blindness, and total deafness. At
sixteen years old, she was losing the battle of congestive heart and
kidney failure. Considerable weight loss had made her 4.5 lb. tiny
body frail and although the pain of letting go was almost
unbearable, it was the right decision to let her rest. Susie was
most special. The time we spent together was too little and all you
do for ! them seems to not be enough. I look forward to being with
her again s ome day. I also am the mother to a 4-year old male
Yorkshire terrier and 3 other mixed breed. I love them all. Barbara |

Murphy Bagley 12-7-05- I know this might
seem silly, but I received my Mimi’s ashes this morning from East
North Veterinary Clinic in Greenville, SC, and finally allowed
myself to go to your webpage to remember all 3 of the precious souls
that we have lost since December 2005. Murphy Bagley is listed on
Dec. 7, 2005. Zipper Bagley is listed for May 17, 2006, but Mimi,
who died July 11, 2006, is not listed. Thank you for treating our
loved ones with the respect they deserved. It has helped our hearts.

with Max! We adopted him in Brooklyn, New York. He stayed with me
after my divorce, and moved with me to South Carolina. Max led a
full and active life. I and my other dog and cat miss him so much! |

Mandy Watkins 12-15-05 I never considered
myself a "dog" person until my late husband brought Mandy,
a Sheltie rescue, into our home about five years ago. When she
arrived, she woulds shake or try to hide when anyone approached.
Soon, however, anyone who came into our house was "forced"
to pet her. Mandy was the most loyal friend I have ever had. She was
always within five feet of me when I was in my house, no matter
what. I will truly miss my friend and feel comforted that her
