bulletSadie Thornton  3-1-05      Sadie was a smile on a rainy day. She was a hug on a lonely night. She was the best listener when you really needed to talk. Sadie was our best friend in so many ways. She taught us how to love unconditionally and how to laugh at the little things. Whenever my husband and I would argue, Sadie would start to whimper and demand attention, she would do something silly (as if on purpose) to make us stop arguing. Usually we would and then we would laugh and start playing with Sadie. We miss her being at the door when we get home, and following us around all night. Little Kitty misses her too. We love you Sader thank you for bringing so much to our family.

bulletArchie Owens  3-1-05   Archie was the life of the party. Although he came from five generations of Welch Corgi show champions, he never flaunted his royalty. However, he did win the 1st Place as the Best Trick Dog six year in a row in Savannah, Georgia at the Annual Armature Dog Show. We usually did a "Dog on the Street Interview." "So how long have you been a cattle herder?" Archie would bark twice. "That's an outside job, what do you do when it rains?" Archie would shake off. "What about cattle rustlers, how do you catch them?" Archie would crawl "What do you do if they shoot at you?" Archie would roll over. "Have you ever been shot?" Archie would play dead. "Oh, stop it?" Archie would get up smiling "Do you know any cowboy songs?" Archie would start baying. Additionally, he would get the paper every morning, even the large Before Thanksgiving Sale paper. To heavy to carry, so he'd drag it up to the front door. He loved the lake, but would never go in over his belly. He loved our son and enjoyed calling him on the phone when he was away at college. Archie would do tricks just for the sake of doing tricks as if he was practicing on his own. When we got another Welch Corgi, Archie tried to teach the new dog some of his tricks. Archie had a very extensive vocabulary. He understood almost everything we said and could communicate some on his own with special barks. Archie loved to herd a basketball and could bring it back from two front lawns away by pushing it with his nose. As he aged, he did it so gracefully. Although the skip in his step faded with time, he still continued to walk with us down the street if only a few hundred feet away. He was a wonderful companion, a great friend and the smartest animal we ever had.

bulletMolly Rogers  3-10-05  Molly was our little precious girl who was loved more than words could ever say. She will be missed by her family and friends. Until we meet again...I love you and will keep you in my heart forever. Mommie              Molly Rose Bug!! you left us after only 3 1/2 years on earth. " Our little sister". You were only 3lbs, but full of vigor... then something went wrong. We still can't comprehend exactly what happened, but we do know you are no longer with us. Mom misses not having you in bed every night so we try to make up for it by sleeping next to her like you did, but we know she misses you very much...Mom always referred to us as her three little stooges (Molly, Julie and Rosie) her three little yorkies!!! Her little girls!!! She kisses your little box of ashes every morning, when she comes home from work and before she goes to bed at night....She also cries alot and calls out your name...I know you are with her and us. Some day we will cross Rainbow Bridge too and we will be with you again, " our little sister" Molly...until then we will try to keep mom as happy as possible. Our Love Forever, Juliet and Rosie 2-24-06 -Molly Rose Bug...It's been one year since you passed away....I keep hearing how it gets better in time, but for me it gets harder.... when I ask Juliet "where's Molly"? Juliet looks for you...She hasn't forgotten you either...  I love you and miss you so very much.  We will never forget that beautiful little girl....Love Mommie

bulletPeanut Scheiderer  3-11-05   I have never had a dog or pet in my life growing up, until 11 years ago when I met my wife. Back then, it was Boston and Peanut, and eventually, just Peanut. Losing Boston was very difficult, and losing Peanut was even harder. Both Boston and Peanut taught me the importance of what it meant for unconditional love and companionship, and changed my life forever. I became a better person after knowing them, because I never truly understood how close a dog could be to a person, and how they can make life more complete - and teach me how to be a better person. Peanut always searched for me when I wasn't around, whether I was in a different room, or on business travel - he valued the companionship just as much as I did. I loved it when he would lay on my feet, or would sit by my side in my office. It breaks my heart to know that he will no longer be helping me grill food on the weekends, sit in the grass on nice days, bark at his greenies, lay on my blanket when watching TV, or go with us to McDonalds for his plain hamburger. Peanut loved to bark at and play chase squirrels - he always had them to play with until a year and a half ago - until we moved. For the past year and a half, we were unable to attract any squirrels to our new yard - no matter what food we provided. A week before Peanut became ill, a squirrel showed up to our house - we named him Downspout since he liked to sleep on the gutter downspout on the 2nd floor (and on occasion, near Peanut's water bowl - and never ran away when we got close). Downspout came to our house every day for 4 weeks, except for the day that Peanut went to Rainbow Bridge - and never returned - until we brought Peanut's ashes home a week later. I know someone sent Downspout to comfort Peanut and us - reminding us that we will all be together again someday - at Rainbow Bridge. In loving memory of Peanut Scheiderer, April, 1989 - March, 2005 - my best friend.
