Corporate Office
Charles - Corporate
After attending Berry College in Rome, Georgia, Charles began his professional career just like many young college grads do; he took the first paying job he could find. From purchasing agent, to computer sales, to real estate broker and home builder, he finally found his calling in the funeral business. He worked with Aurora Casket Company in Kentucky before heading back home to Atlanta to enroll in Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service. After completing his studies and passing the national boards Charles moved to Greenville, South Carolina. There he worked at Mackey Funeral Home as an embalmer and funeral director. Once Charles completed his apprenticeship he found an opportunity to purchase Saint Francis Pet Crematory. With the help of two partners he purchased the business and ran it for two years. Charles started Good Shepherd in 1998.
Charles married his college sweetheart, Stephanie. They have two children; CT who is attending Clemson University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Allie who is a senior at Wade Hampton High School. Their furry family members include Anna Belle, who has been a part of the family ever since Charles brought her home from Dr. Rosen's practice as a puppy. Currently Anna Belle is blind and shares her home with 4 cats which have claimed The Crook's as their pets and they don't have the heart to send us away.
Charles and Stephanie attend Brookwood Community Church in Simpsonville where Charles has been a men’s small group leader for over thirteen years. Charles is also a member of the Greenville Breakfast Rotary Club and has been elected to Presidency for the 2010/2011 year.
Other than work, Charles loves to spend time on the lake with family and friends. He is currently working on his instrument rating private pilot license and hopes to fly through the cloud instead of flying around them real soon. Charles and Stephanie completed a trip of a lifetime where they both completed the marathon in Athens Greece in 2010.

Robyn - Corporate
Robyn began her career at Good Shepherd after spending over 25 years in the Early Childhood Education field. She answers your phone calls and has a huge heart helping those that are struggling with the loss of a best friend. She also is in charge of keeping tabs on the guys out visiting clinics; no small task to say the least.
Robyn is from Buffalo New York but has been in the south so long she keeps a jacket in the office on even the hottest of days. Bill and Robyn have been married for 23 years and have two children living in South Carolina, Will and Amanda.
Robyn has had a family of furry friends living with her and Bill over the years. Jack is the old man of the house now with Moose keeping him young. Smokey keeps an eye on the dogs perched on the roof for a better view to look down on his minions. Buddy, Jr and Squeaky joined the family in August, 2012. Two wonderful little kitties.
Robyn and Bill love to spend there down time in the woods camping with the animals and with family. If you can’t find them at the camp site there is a good chance they will be in Taccoa, GA looking for retirement property.

Kelli - Corporate
Kelli started her journey with Good Shepherd in September of 2010. She is originally from Connecticut and moved to south to be close to family. We are all very excited.
Talking to pet parents and helping them through such a difficult time is a real joy for Kelli. She just loves to hear your stories about your pet and the relationship you have had with them. Yes, her job is a tough one, and not one for anyone, but she really does have a servants heart and is here for you when needed.
Your typical twenty something. Kelli loves to watch movies, go shopping with the girls, and try out her new culinary skills on her friends and family.
She also has a huge love for her fur baby Lola, a grey and white kitty cat.
Tracy is one of our newest members. She was born and raised in Greenville SC and is a true southern girl. Tracy will also assist with the phones to answer any questions you may have regarding Good Shepherd Services as well as administrative duties.

Jeff and Andrea have been married for 20 years and have two children; Alyssa and Blake. Both are very proud of their dad and very happy he can stay at home instead of all the traveling he once did. Jeff loves to fish and he is working hard to get Blake "hooked" on the sport. Jeff and Andrea have two dogs; Sparky and Tank; guess which one is the boxer?
Jeff says his favorite part of working with Good Shepherd is the freedom he has while serving his clients. And, after a long day at work he likes to relax with a true southern delight: peanuts IN a Coke!

Mike has an amazing sense of humor and can put a smile on just about anyone’s face.
Charlotte Field Representatives

Scott - Charlotte
Scott began working with Good Shepherd on April Fool's Day. In 2002 Scott took the chance to build a new career in a fairly new industry. Textiles were coming to an end and it was time for a change. From Chattanooga, Tennessee Scott moved to Charlotte after graduating from the University of Tennessee. During his time at Good Shepherd Scott has done a remarkable job of introducing our services to veterinarians throughout the Southeast. Scott is our point man; you will find him at most "shows" that are attended by Good Shepherd. He usually has his companion Frank along for the ride.
When Scott is not working, you will find him on a golf course taking money from his friends. If you ask Scott what he likes most about Good Shepherd he will tell you about the relationships he has with veterinarians, their staff, and the client's that appreciate the services he provides.

George- Charlotte
George began his career with Good Shepherd Pet Services in 2006 in the Charleston, SC. In 2010 George and his wife, Paula, moved to Tega Cay, SC where George began assisting Good Shepherd customers in the Charlotte area. Prior to joining the Good Shepherd team George worked in the Automotive Industry assisting his customers’ needs in Raleigh and Wilmington, NC for the past 35 years. George developed a very loyal following but always had an interest in animals and at an early age wanted to be a veterinarian.
George has always been a true animal lover and has owned a horse and several beloved cats. In 2000 George and his wife, while on a visit to Pet Smart to ‘buy some cat food’ fell in love with a whippet and sheltie mix that was up for adoption by the local humane society and thus began their first ‘parenthood’ of a dog. ‘Jake’ began his life with George and their 2 cats Baby and Azul and has been a true joy and addition to their family. In 2007 Baby and Azul both passed away at the age of 15 and it was the team at Good Shepherd that helped ease that loss, but George and his wife were not ready to bring another cat into their lives.
In 2008, while on his way to visit a vet clinic George came across what appeared to be a dead animal in the road but as he drove closer, he realized it was a kitten that was injured and barely alive. A large 16 wheel truck was following George and barely missed running over her also. George turned around immediately, picked the kitten up and took her to the nearest vet, Morrison Vet Hospital in Walterboro, SC, not knowing whether she was still alive. This kitten – ‘Ms. Callie’ as she would come to be known, had to have her tail amputated but was nursed back to health by the clinic and was going to become their ‘clinic cat’. George continued to visit her and the vet techs eventually coined the name ‘George’s cat’. George had truly saved this kitten’s life and after much soul searching George convinced his wife that it must be meant to be, for them to have another cat. Ms. Callie and Jake are the best of friends now and add so much joy and pleasure to his life.

Jeff H. - Charlotte
Jeff is a native Charlottean, living here for his entire life and has been with the company since October of 2005.
He has three kids; Megan, Jeffrey and Morgan that all live in Atlanta, GA.
His love for animals comes from having his own pets, a cat names Ricochet and a dog named Tigger.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys hiking, fishing, and watching a plethora of sports.
He says the best part of the job is helping people that are trying to cope with the grief of losing their companion. He definitely goes the extra mile to make a difference and ease the pain of their loss.

Brad - Charlotte
Brad is our "better" version of Steve Segal. Brad has a interesting back ground and one that only he can divulge. But, we can tell you that he is one of the good guys. Brad and his wife Francie live in Charlotte and spend their down time riding motorcycles, working on the farm, and generally staying very busy.
Brad came to Good Shepherd in 2009 and he has been an asset ever since. He has a wealth of knowledge in many topics so don't be surprised to hear Brad give you personal insight in some obscure topic. It's great to have Brad on our team.

Jill - Charlotte
Jill is a vet tech that has been working with Dr. Glover for many years. She came to Greenville, South Carolina with Dr. Glover to assist him during his ophthalmology surgeries. During one of those visits she meet Charles. They built a friendship that has lasted for over 16 years. When Good Shepherd opened in Charlotte it was Jill that helped Good Shepherd service Carolina Vet Specialist. A couple years ago Jill told Charles that she would be slowing down with Dr. Glover and wanted to help Good Shepherd. It is an pleasure to have such knowledge and care available to Good Shepherd's customers through Jill.
Jill heads up our education division. She gives vet techs and veterinarians the insight of "death care" in their offices by presenting grief counseling over lunch. Did I mention she is known throughout Charlotte for her world class cooking? If you want Jill to come to your clinic, give her a call; you will not be disappointed.
Jill and Brian live in Clover, SC on a mini zoo. Their family consists of horses, sheep, pot-belly pigs, dogs and cats galore.
