Pet Memorial Page This page is dedicated to the owners and pets that have been served by Good Shepherd. If you would like to add a personal memorial just e-mail us and it will be added to the page. Please allow up to 2 weeks for memorials to be added. If your pet's name is not found please just include it with your memorial or just send an e-mail with your pet's name and date of passing. Please include the date of death with any correspondence.
*The Rainbow Bridge* There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge is a land of meadows, hills and valleys, all of it is covered with lush green grass. When a beloved Pet dies, the Pet goes to this lovely land. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. There, the old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole once more. They play all day with each other, content and comfortable. There is only one thing missing. They are not with the special person who loved them on earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! Then, the nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! You have been seen, and that one suddenly runs from the group! You take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting Pet. Then, together, you cross the Rainbow Bridge, never again to be separated. Author Unknown

With all the love you have given me over the last 12 years, it was the least I could do for you. You do not have to struggle to breathe, and life is not so hard for you now. Just know that you are missed more than you could ever imagine; I miss the patter of your little feet, the wagging of your little rudder, the smile only you can give. My arms are empty and miss holding you and you lying on my chest (where you were the most comfortable since you were a puppy). You have been my strength when I needed it most, a shoulder to cry on when I needed one, always there when I needed a smile, for these things I will always cherish the time I had with you. You are in my heart and in my thoughts every day, you will never be forgotten. So go play Frisbee and be at peace, I will meet you again at the Rainbow Bridge.

	Missy Lafluer 06-08-09 - contessa missy Lafluer may-1989-June 8, 2009, we adopted missy when she was 2months old.for the past 20 years she has been a beloved part of our family. she showed us so mush love and affection. she has been through so much with our family. just her sweet little meow and gentle nudge and purr would bring us all comfort during difficult and stressful times. i can only hope she knew how much she was loved and adored. this home will never be the same without her, and she can never be replaced. the contessa missy was one of a kind, she has now returned home and her ashes remain in our home where she belongs. she will always remain in our hearts,she took a piece of them when she left. so to our contessa missy, we pray that you are resting in peace,that you can still feel our love and pray we will be together again one day. we love you contess mama.
