| Sherlock Hill 5-6-99 Hello, my name is
Brandon Hill. I just turned 12 the week of my birthday. When I got
home from school Monday afternoon my sister gave me a card sent by
Newport Animal Hospital. When I found out Sherlock Hill, my dog, had
died I was the saddest I had ever been in my entire life. I have a
very good friend,(can not tell names) that helps me when I am
depressed. She lost her dad when she was only 6 years old. She said
she felt the same way when she lost her dad, but told me to remember
all the good times Sherlock and I had. I did this and now I am much
calmer. Although I still remember those days when I would get off the
school bus and he'd just howl like he hadn't seen me in years, or the
nights my dad would put Sherlock in the back of the truck and we would
go for a ride. Sherlock was the most loyal dog I have ever had. When I
was sad I at least he is in a better place now and I thank all of you
at Good Shepherd Pet Services for being so kind to us and help let us
know that our dog is now in a better place.

kitty-girl Sylvia. I got her back in 1981, she was the cutest,
toughest little kitty I'd ever had. Black tortoise shell with a mis-shaped
dark patch on her nose and a good, square muzzle. If she didn't like
someone, she'd attack their head. If she wanted to get to know
someone, she's smell their head - which was a little embarrassing when
she sniffed the head of a bald friend - a woman! She always slept
within reach of my hand and when I needed her - she was always there.
She loved her dinner and would purr whenever andone touched her. When
she was silent, my husband used to remark, "I'll turn her
on", and then he'd simply touch her. I'll miss her and rember her

It has been two months since we lost you and our hearts are still
broken at the thought of never holding our precious boy again. You
brought so much joy and love to our family and even to so many who
only visited once but so enjoyed the sparkle of your unique
personality!
We have wonderful memories we will cherish forever and we will always
be grateful for having you with us all these years. Your grandma and
grandpa, and your daddy and I love you so very much. We will never
forget the way you showed your love, even when you were so sick and
struggling for every breath. Little one, you were nothing less than a
miracle...and we thank God for you. |

to me for my birthday on 6-3-1990. What a special gift and such a
special friend she was. I felt like it was really ironic that she died
on my birthday this year. She was so loyal to me I hardly took a step
at home without her by my side. I thank God for sending this sweet
little "fur person" into my life. I am a potter by trade and
I plan on using some of her ashes to combine with clay and make a pet
windchime so that I can still see her, touch her and hear her. |

February 1984. She was a good and faithful pet for 15 years. Sadie
liked to play with a frisbee, but never learned to return it to the
person who threw it to her. When we would arrive home she would
frantically look for something to give us such as a leaf or whatever
she could get into her mouth. Sadie was also a neat housekeeper. After
Sadie finished her meal licking the bowl clean, she would always
"put away her bowl" by turning it over. Sadie has left an
indelible mark on our hearts and will be missed very much. |
